Brandie Evans started with Rocky Mountain Care Foundation in December of 2014. Brandie is a graduate of the University of Utah where she studied Political Science and Consumer and Community Studies. Before joining Rocky Mountain Care Foundation, Brandie was hard at work serving as a committee member to the Utah Chapter of the Children’s Tumor Foundation. With the Children’s Tumor Foundation Brandie was able to help raise awareness and funds for Neurofibromatosis (NF) research, a disorder her young daughter suffers from. Brandie is also an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness, participating in events throughout the year with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation.
Brandie was recently honored by the Children’s Tumor Foundation as a “Top Walker” for her fundraising efforts during the 2014 Utah NF Walk, where she helped to raise over four thousand dollars in her first year. The team formed in her daughters honor, The LadyBug Gang, was also recognized at the 4th Annual NF Walk as the “2014 Top Team”, registering a team of supporters 65 people strong!
Brandie currently resides in Bountiful with her husband Brett and her 3-year old daughter Rylie. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and snowmobiling in Utah’s beautiful mountains.
