If you were in need of medical services or items, such as hearing aids, doctor consults, or dentures would you know who to contact to receive financial assistance to acquire what you need? Most people wouldn’t. We here at RMCF try to go to those who need us most, eliminating confusion and hassel for patients. Last week we were given the opportunity to speak at Fairfield Village in Layton and Golden Years Senior Activity Center in Bountiful as apart of the Summer Caregiver Series offered to Davis County senior citizens. Davis County Health Department’s Senior Services offers free monthly caregiver classes this summer. During the second week of each month, a series of one-hour presentations start at noon on Tuesday and are repeated on Thursday. Tuesday presentations are held at Fairfield Village of Layton, 1201 N. Fairfield Road, and Thursday presentations take place at Golden Years Seniors Activity Center, 726 S. 100 East, Bountiful. We focused our presentation on our Charitable Care Initiative, and after speaking to some of the attendees we will hopefully see an influx in applicants!
If you would like to attend any of the classes or have questions regarding the series please contact Megan Forbush at 801-525-5088.
We are always accepting applications for our Charitable Care Initiative, if you or anyone you know is in need of assistance please contact us at 801-397-4163 or fill out the application on our website and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
